Preparing For Weather
Just a friendly reminder that Railbird is a rain or shine event. So even if there are some showers, the show will go on!
That being said, your safety is our FIRST priority, so here are a few things to keep in mind to make sure you have a great weekend and stay dry!
Listen to all directions from official Railbird staff If there are any weather updates, we will alert fans on social media @RailbirdFest and on the stage screens.
In case of lightning or high winds, we may temporarily ask that you seek shelter in your vehicles till things are safer (if you don’t have a vehicle, make a friend!) If there is a temporary evacuation of the festival site, all patrons will need to re-enter through the main festival entrance and go through security again.
Friendly Reminders:
Re-entry
Guests can leave and re-enter as often as they would like until 7pm (local time). You will scan your wristbands and pass through security each time you re-enter the site.
Water Refill Stations
Hydration is important – seriously. Alcohol dehydrates and staying hydrated is important for having a good time. Railbird offers free, 100% filtered and drinkable water located throughout the festival. Check your festival map (COMING SOON) for locations. Guests will be allowed to bring one unopened factory sealed water bottle as well as refillable bottles, so be sure to bring a water bottle or cup and stay hydrated!
Shade
Standalone shade structures will be available to ensure guests have a place to rest and cool off. Additionally, we'll be using a tent structure for one of the 3 stages that we'll extend past the viewing area to add even more shade.
